How to use a foam roller to ease tight tired legs and your back

A foam roller is an essential piece of equipment that every runner should own.

Most runners are used to stretching, pre & post-run, however, with the addition of a regular foam rolling routine, we can alleviate muscle imbalances and soreness. By doing so we can train more consistently without having to worry too much about the niggles one often associates with running.

Foam rolling should always be a relaxed and not stressful part of the day. One simply finds a nice rhythm with comfortable breathing to bring oxygen back to the muscles you are focusing on. We would suggest spending about 30 seconds on each muscle section.
